No, we are a full capacity studio and unfortunately do not have the space or time to take on any apprentices.
If you are looking for an apprenticeship we can offer you this advice:
-
Work hard on your portfolio and include at least 10 of your best pieces of artwork, this can be in any media to showcase your skills and talent.
-
Include biro studies. Biro like tattooing can not be erased. studies of hands are particularly impressive as they are notoriously hard to draw.
-
Research the history and styles of tattooing and include some sketches in these styles, for example drawing a rose in multiple ways. Realism, Traditional, Neo Trad...
-
Actually draw on paper. Anyone can draw on an ipad. Your portfolio should boast a physical selection of your work.
-
Contact studios and ask them for constructive criticism.
-
Get tattooed by artists that inspire you, talk to them and build raport.
-
Visit tattoo conventions and get inspired!

We would reccommend a minimum of 6 weeks to allow your tattoo to fully heal.
The first 4-6 weeks after your tattoo are the most important, once all your scabs have healed your body is healing delicate and new skin. This new skin is most likely to fade in the early stages of healing.
